Completion – Initially you may think that you have lost him for good because you cannot put him in your party. This is not the case, return to your estate and Fenris will meet you there. After a brief conversation with him , he will leave and will become an active party member again.
Execution – You must head to Bartrand’s Estate in Hightown. When you enter Varric will be spinning a yarn about the epic battle he fought alone. When he is done you can get on with exploring the house.
Recruiting Isabela is optional. You will need to complete the “Fools Rush In” quest for her to become an active party member. If you do not complete this quest you will not be able to recruit her, even then she is important for parts of the story.
While the player does have the option to flirt with Tallis (and receive a kiss, depending on the player's choices during the DLC), it will have no effect on any romance they currently have with another character (though if present, all except Sebastian express jealousy). Carver, Hawke’s warrior brother, has a similar setup, but he at least has some autonomy and drama in his branching paths. Bethany, meanwhile, is pretty much dragged through the story, with BioWare separating or killing every member of a family in a game ostensibly about contact me familial ties. Bethany is comparatively sweet and understanding whereas her brother is decidedly neither of those things, but BioWare gave her nothing to work with.

Eventually, whether by his own fanaticism or the spirit’s influence, Anders blows up the Kirkwall Chantry, sparking a mage rebellion that changes the Dragon Age universe forever.
After that, he is gone for most of the game much like Bethany, only showing up during climactic contact me moments like a glorified cameo. It’s a shame.
If Bethany survives past Act I then she will appear again during later quests, but she will no longer be available as a playable party member.
Merrill's romance cutscene doesn’t queue until after her Questioning Beliefs quest. The Flirt option indicates contact me that she is available, but she will be considered queued so long Figura any Flirt option was taken beforehand, not necessarily this one. Note that Merrill is always last in the queue, so Anders must be outright dumped before she will visit.
This dialogue doesn’t explicitly end the romance with Isabela but does indicate that a romance with her will go no further than sex. This allows the player to sleep with Isabela even after this "breakup" dialogue and even after bedding Fenris, then deal with the queued romance(s) Campeón they see fit. Her dialogue favors Fenris with both of the men queued at the same time, and she makes no mention of Merrill until after she has moved in, thus the dialogue does signal the end of the romance. Fenris has some unique looking tattoos, His tattoos are made from Lyrium and give him some unique abilities, including the ability to punch his fist through a person’s body, which you will see for yourself the first time you see him. Fenris’ enslavement has made him a bitter man, meaning you should tread carefully when you talk to him if you are trying to attain a friendship.
